Monday of the Thirty-first Week in Ordinary Time

Too many people hold celebrations not for the holiest among us, but for themselves. The poor and forgotten remain as such, viewed as unworthy of the goods of the world, Lord. Rather, let us rejoice that they are with us, and care for all who find themselves without the comfort of family and community. For they who endure the most are the greatest. Amen.

Readings:

Philippians 2:1-4

Psalms 131:1BCDE, 2, 3

Luke 14:12-14
